Guava. Another food that comes highly recommended in combatting hair loss is guava. Guavas are high in vitamin C which can treat brittle hair and prevent breakage. Most people will turn to oranges for their daily dose of vitamin C but guavas actually contain four times more vitamin C.
Walnuts. Nuts are also good for keeping hair loss at bay particularly walnuts. Compared to other foods out there, walnuts have the highest amount of omega 6 fatty acids. What’s more, walnuts contain zinc, protein, healthy fats, B vitamins, and iron all of which promote better overall health. Take note, however, that walnuts also have small amounts of selenium in them which can trigger hair loss when consumed in large amounts. Eating a handful of walnuts each week will suffice though in giving you the nutrients you need to preserve your hair.
Eggs. If you are fond of eating eggs you’ll have another reason to love this food. Eggs are one of the best sources of biotin which promote hair growth and strengthen nails. When your body doesn’t have enough biotin in it, it can trigger hair loss. Salmon, avocados, and almonds are also good sources of this vitamin.
Hair loss does present a problem especially when it becomes noticeable.
