Treat Sweaty Palms and Feet NaturallySweaty palms and feet aren’t exactly confident boosters because they can prevent you from shaking hands or even removing your shoes at home because of the smell that may emanate from your feet. There are many factors that can contribute to this problem such as stress, hormonal imbalance, and even nervousness. The good news is that you can treat this problem of yours using natural remedies so that you will soon be more confident with meeting new people.

Here are some examples of home remedies that you can use to alleviate sweaty palms and feet.

  • Cornstarch. Cornstarch works just like talcum powder. Just dust your palms and your feet with cornstarch powder and leave it on for 30 minutes. Rinse afterwards and you will find that your palms and feet will be considerably drier.
  • Apple cider vinegar. Another home remedy for sweaty palms and feet is apple cider vinegar. This vinegar contains astringent properties that can regulate excessive sweating by keeping your pores tight. When ingested, apple cider vinegar can make your pH levels balanced. To use this remedy, rinse your palms and feet then, using a cotton ball, apply the apple cider vinegar on the affected areas and leave it on overnight. Take a bath or shower the following morning and dust your hands and feet with some baby powder.
  • Rosewater. Rosewater is believed to be quite efficient in curing sweaty palms. The good news is that this product is not hard to get as you can purchase it from your local beauty shop or, if you like, you can make one on your own. All that you have to do is to boil some fresh rose petals in a cup of water for 10 to 15 minutes at least. Strain the solution and keep the water in an airtight container. Apply rosewater on your hands and feet using cotton ball. You can even combine some rosewater with vinegar to help make your palms and feet drier.
  • Lemon juice. If you are looking for a natural remedy to treat excessive sweating on your palms and feet, try lemon juice. Lemon juice has the ability to make your limbs dry while eliminating bacteria that may also trigger excessive sweating. As a bonus, the citrusy scent can make your hands and feet smelling good. To use this treatment, you should squeeze the juice from one lemon and add into a teaspoon of baking soda. Mix until you create a paste. Apply the paste on your palms and feet then leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse off afterwards. You should use this treatment once every day to alleviate sweating.
  • Tea therapy. Tea is not just for drinking but it is also a good home remedy to alleviate sweaty palms and feet. What’s great about this ingredient is that it contains antiperspirant and astringent properties that can remove excess oil from your body. All that you have to do is to soak about 4 to 5 tea bags in hot water then soak your hands and feet in it for about 30 minutes. This will help minimize perspiration in these areas for a couple of days.
